Premeditated, unjustified, cold-blooded murder by IDF thugs deserves international condemnation. Why do Western powers support this illegal regime and its criminal actions?

On March 30, Israeli occupation forces murdered at least 13 Palestinians and injured more than 1200, using live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets, and huge quantities of tear gas.

The massive protests in cities across Gaza — the world’s largest open-air prison — were held on Land Day and were the start of a six-week long mobilization leading up to al-Nakba Day, May 15, which commemorates the expulsion of more than 750,000 Palestinians from their homeland in 1948 to make way for the Zionist state of Israel. The protest is called, “The Great March of Return”, and demands that the expelled Palestinian be allowed to return to their land.

The Israeli occupation forces, while attempting to turn reality upside down by claiming to have been acting in “self-defense,” reported suffering zero casualties.

The right of return is a principle in international law which guarantees people’s right of voluntary return to or re-enter their country of origin or of citizenship. A right of return based on nationality, citizenship or ancestry may be enshrined in a country’s constitution or law, and some countries deny a right of return in particular cases or in general. This is the case of the apartheid nation of Zionist Israel, a leading state sponsor of terror.

The right is formulated in several modern treaties and conventions, most notably in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the 1966 International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the 1948 Fourth Geneva Convention. The Geneva Conventions, it has been argued, have passed into customary international law and that the right of return is binding on non-signatories to the conventions.

The right of return is often invoked by representatives of refugee groups to assert that they have a right to return to the country from which they were displaced.

The belligerent apartheid state of Israel is in self-evident violation of International Law when it denies the right of return of 7 million displaced Palestinian and then kills those who demand the law to be observed.

This was at full display today for world cameras to record and report to the entire humanity, except of course the Zionist-controlled Western mainstream media which shamelessly stays quiet on such great humanitarian matters.

Will anything change? Probably not. Not as long as the Zionist usurpers have a near choke hold on Washington’s foreign policy in the Middle East.

Quote:

"ED-NOTE - Not only have the JEWISH controlled MSM shamelessly stayed quiet, but so have the Jewish or crypto-Jewish or Jewish controlled western leaders. This shows how deep the Jewish grip over the West is. It shows how much leverage Israel has over our countries that none dared utter a word of condemnation.

We are told that it is a vile anti-shemitic conspiracy theory to say that the Jews control the world of finance, media and politics. The deafening silence of our political leaders alone proves the theory right; it proves that the Jews do own all the levels of powers in all Western countries."

"Pelosi and 9 Dems had ‘excellent meeting’ with Netanyahu even as Israel sent ‘dozens of snipers’ to Gaza"

"Last Tuesday March 26, Nancy Pelosi led a delegation of ten House Democrats to Israel, where most of them met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu tweeted that night that he’d had an “excellent meeting” with the congresspeople.
"At that time, Israel was already planning to shoot Palestinians in Gaza at the Land Day demonstration on Friday: “dozens of snipers will be deployed along the Gaza border,” the army announced that same day."

About Gaza, I will quote the "last message" of my favorite philosopher, Bertrand Russell, wrote two days before his death on 2 February 1970, and read in Cairo the day after his death:

" the tragedy of the people of Palestine is that their country has been " given " by a foreign power to another people in order to create a new state. The result is that some thousands of innocent people have been left homeless permanently. In each new conflict, their number has only increased. How long is the world going to tolerate this spectacle of relentless cruelty? It is clear that refugees have all rights to the land they have been expelled from and that the denial of this right is at the heart of the perpetuation of the conflict. No people in the world would agree to be hunted by mass from their own country; how can anyone demand that the people of Palestine accept a punishment that no one else will be punished? A permanent and just installation of refugees in their country is an essential ingredient of any real solution in the middle east.
We are often told that we must sympathize with Israel because of the suffering of Jews in Europe in the hands of Nazis. I see no reason to perpetuate any suffering. What Israel is doing today cannot be excused, and invoking the horrors of the past to justify those of the present is grossly hypocritical. Not only does Israel condemn a large number of refugees in poverty; not only many Arabs under occupation are condemned to a military regime; however, Israel also condemns the Arab countries that have recently emerged from a colonial status to be further impoverished. , because their military needs are taking on national development."

It is difficult to imagine an intellectual holding this kind of speech today, particularly with regard to the right to return of Palestinian refugees, unless it wishes to spend the rest of its days defending the accusation of anti-Semitism.

  3. From a media point of view, killings and deaths are on a sliding scale of importance the world over. It's a class thing, a race thing, a local thing, a drama thing, a glamour thing, a gory thing, a mystery thing, a tragedy thing, a youth thing, a number thing. I suppose there are so many deaths of people both natural and otherwise that the media has to be chosey, influenced by what they believe the public want to read about. But in addition the whole subject is vulnerable to manipulation by those in charge of media and government either to 'big-up' or 'play-down' instances. Could we have a better example than the Skripal case on the one hand, and all the dead Palestinian protestors on the other?
